"I Heard That!"

Dear Friends, my ear procedure went very well and now some three days later - I am back to hearing pretty well out of my left ear! I even was able to wear my hearing aid today. It really made a big difference in my ability to participate in a group setting. Thank you so much for your prayers!

We trust you all will all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We'll do our best to keep this blog updated.

I Can Hear Again!

Had my ear procedure done yesterday (the 17th) and all went very well!! It was a bit uncomfortable but not at all painful - and totally successful! Thank you all for your prayers.
First thing I did afterwards was to call our son on my cell phone - using the 'bad' ear and I could hear him very well!
Today we are headed into Richmond as a team, 13 of us, to help a church planter canvass a neighborhood. It will be a good experience for us and also give us a reason to get away from campus for a bit.

Down By The Creek

Here we are down by the creek bank. It was a beautiful day.

Today was a good day - our session with Dr. Rankin was good and then our small group met twice. John swept the sidewalks of leaves for 1.5 hours and then played volleyball for two hours. He is kinda stiff and sore at the moment.

Post a comment please.

Friday Night

Dear Friends,

It is Friday night and we are relaxing just a bit! Went to the movie - The Escape Clause - it was okay, not gonna win any awards but at least it was clean!

Not new news on my left ear yet, but we are still hopeful. Keep on praying!

Feel free to post comments on this blog.

Take care and God Bless,
