January 20, 2007 Prague

Dear Friends and Supporters!! Greetings from Prague! We've now been here for 18 days and we're beginning to feel at home. Although we did get lost today. It was an adventure for sure and we ended up walking a very long ways! We ate in a local restaurant - it was delicious. Pork tenderloin and french fries (mashed potatoes for Alvine). We took a few photos and just had a real big time. Building on left is where we work (2nd floor) and the one on the right is where we live (also 2nd floor), that's our small balcony you see on the right side of the building!
Our work progresses nicely, we're learning a lot. Alvine finsihed her first week of language school, she has to more weeks to learn all she can!
Keep on praying - we sure need it!
Love, In Christ, John and Alvine

Hello Rouths! Sorry it took us a while to find this. Zachary had a web address that was not the right one, so I had to search a little. Glad to hear you are enjoying Prague. It looks nice. Is it cold there? We are hanging out in the 20s and 30s during the days and 10s and single digits at night. We are staying warm though. Zach is now planning to have a youth meeting on Sundays because there was little turn-out during the week. We are having a Valentine's Party on the 10th and things seem to be going well. We continue to remember you in prayer. Best wishes!
