Once a Week?

Hi friends! Did I say once a week? I probably should have said once a month, or maybe once a quarter!! Sorry about the delay, nothing terrible, just a case of the winter blahs maybe.


We trust all is well with you all. We enjoy reading about some of your journeys and we do appreciate hearing from folks from time to time.


Not much to report on here. I did manage to smash my right thumb on Sunday night setting up a table for English Club. My my that sure did smart! Am just now getting a new nail on the finger I hurt in October. No doubt I will be home in Kentucky before this one heals completely.


This week we start the new semester at the Economic University with a class on current events. It ought to be quite interesting with elections playing a big part of our discussions. Did you know the Czech people do not elect their president? Their congress chooses the president - a little different than us - eh? Good news though is there is absolutely no election advertising! No need since the people have no say so in the whole deal. We don't watch Czech TV but if we did then this would be a great improvement over what you all in the states are going to have to put up with very soon!
