Hello Friends & Supporters! Greetings from Prague! We are now just 222 days away from returning to Kentucky!! I would say "Not that we're counting the days." but apparently we are doing just that!
We celebrated Easter today with an early morning service at Visehrad Castle overlooking the Vltava River. We had two (2) Czech Baptist congregations, a Russian Baptist congregation, and our International Baptist congregation. It snowed the whole time! It was really a great time of celebration. I did a short video of the Russian group singing a song.
We are off tomorrow and plan on driving over to Karlovy Vary - that's the Czech town where "Last Holiday" was filmed and the Hotel Grand Pupp is there. Hopefully the roads won't be snow covered! It seems that it is still winter here.
On Wednesday we leave for the annual office retreat in Jicin. A church from Georgia is coming over to conduct the retreat for us and they are bringing goodies fo reach missionary unit! Needless to say we are looking forward to seeing them!
Thank you all again for praying for us! We wouldn't have made it this far without your support and we will definitely need your prayer to make it these final months!
Take care and God Bless You all!
Love, In Christ, John and Alvine

Hello,
I truly enjoy following your Blog. I am excited that you will be home soon. I am hoping you can make Stanton a visit soon after you settle back in to KY. Many things are going on here and even more exciting things to come. The WMU at Stanton Baptist just returned from the annual meeting...we have come home with many new ideas and renewed excitment.
I enjoyed the video you placed on the blog. It was interesting to listen to.
Love you both,
Susan
